GOES Benchmarking Promotion: Spans of Control and Layers Analysis

NexGen Advisors Global Organization Efficiency Survey (GOES) was a great way for companies to see visually the spans of control and layers in their organization. What it didn't provide was the detailed analysis and benchmarking that is required to see the structure by function by layer. In our new promotion, we have discounted the fees in order to allow for companies on strict budgets (and most are) to get the detail that can help the facilitation of  targets and goals based on real data.

The promotion will run through March 9, 2010, and will  offer an analysis of functional spans of control and reporting layers. The good news is, no further data is needed if you participated in the first cycle of the GOES survey (2009). If your organization has changed significantly since the results were provided, then we would need a data refresh and re validation.

The fees are as follows:

Internal Functional Benchmarking:
1. Tabulation of actual spans and layers for 6 functions of your choice: $ 15,000
2. Data refresh and validation: $3,000

External Functional Benchmarking:
1. Using our Standard Organization Framework (SOF) we will benchmark you against Best in Class: $3,000
2. Using Peer groups from the GOES Survey, we will benchmark you against your peer group.: $3,000

This promotion runs until March 9th, 2010. Payment can be made through our website

This comparison lays out how many employees there are per reporting layer (CEO = layer 1).

It gives critical insight in how many reporting layers an organization or function has.

This indicator helps when setting and analyzing reporting layer targets.

It is easy to read what percentage of the employees reside in for example the first 8 reporting layers.
